This template has been created to be used as a base for new sites with some plugins installed with the settings pre-configured to speed up your site building.
The first thing you should do is add any of your own preferred premium plugins and delete any plugins that you do not want.
When you have done this then its best to export the personalized base template using one of two migration plugins on the template. Personally i have a domain that i migrate my personalized advanced template to and i always have a live version of the template for my own personal sites.
Then use the Core Tweaks plugin that creates the basic WordPress settings for personalized contact and privacy pages as well as html sitemap. Once you have finished with Core tweaks then deactivate and delete it. It doesn’t always play nice with other plugins.
I have removed any internal linking plugins as they were causing conflicts with other plugins, if you really want to add one then use SEO Smart links (search from wp plugins search when you click on add new plugin to find it).
Settings such as permalinks, all in one seo, slimstat, hummingbird etc have already been done.
Not all plugins are activated, you can choose from those not activate whether you need those plugins or not.
There are some options for plugins that do the same thing, in that instance then choose which one you prefer and delete the other.
I have added a plugin to disable Gutenberg, this is personal choice and you can deactivate the plugin if you for some strange reason like Gutenberg,. For a better experience of block building then i would recommend thrive themes who have thrive architect and a bunch of great plugins that you can use and allows you to choose using blog builder or WP editor and doesn’t force you.
For site speed i recommend WP Rocket and if you install it then get rid of the hummingbird plugin installed on this template.
If you are part of Local Biz Alpha or RankAttack groups then ask in the groups for links to get both Thrive and WP Rocket which will save you some money.

The template is now using MH Magazine theme which is a simple but fast and easy to use theme.
There are other “preferred” themes in the template if you wish to change over.
If you are using this theme for Local Biz Alpha local directory sites then don’t forget to add or activate your bonus plugins from the member area which include WP RSS Xtreme, Autoblog Alpha and WP Link Control (I recommend upgrading to Link Control Alpha) and for those that are not part of the group i have installed another link status plugin which looks pretty good.
Only activate the Image and video sitemap plugins after you have added a post with an image and a YouTube video embed.
You can activate mobile sitemap immediately but again i recommend adding some content first.
I have used all in one SEO plugin and the Yoast plugin is deactivated but configured in case you prefer Yoast, just the choose one that you prefer. However, If you are using Local Biz Alpha then keep the all in one seo plugin activated, as LBA works with all in one to fill in meta data for every post created.

On the blog there are other posts for recommended fiverr gigs for getting some core services such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Bing webmaster tools done for you properly and integrated with your site. Just do a search on the site for “Recommended fiverr gigs” as i don’t want to link to my blog posts from this template as it will generate lots of low quality links.
Some Recommendations:
If you have a lot of sites, its simpler to manage all your plugins and them updates from one central management tool, the lowest cost and easiest to use tool for doing this that works well is WP Suite which is just $37 for unlimited sites.
To add Push Notifications i recommend OneSignal which is free and unlimited, you can get this configured and integrated into your WordPress site for you on fiverr.
To Track Progress On Your Websites i Recommend Serpstat
Serpstat is a platform similar to ahrefs and moz, it has keyword tools, website tracking and optimization tools and a lot more. However you can get access from just $19 per month instead of paying hundreds of dollars with the other platforms.

Tips For List Building
You already have two plugins for list building installed on this template. The Sumo plugin is free and is a great tool for converting visitors into leads. I recommend using the full page splash screen optin for highest conversions.
Post Gopher is a super simple plugin that is hugely effective.
Since I installed Post Gopher plugin on my blog, my email list building has multiplied and it takes less than 5 minutes to set up.

The best email autoresponder service is in my opinion mailerlite.
This is about a quarter of the cost of aweber and get response and it is 10 x better.
Mailerlite will also auto resend emails to non opens which is a brilliant feature, but it also provides templates for optins and landing pages making it a brilliant service.
My open rates DOUBLED when i started to use mailerlite!
